What is it and Who built it?

Argent X has been specifically designed by @argentHQ for the Starknet L2 solution as a browser wallet extension Wallet. It must not be confused with the mobile native Wallet “Argent”. Same Team behind, different Products.

Characteristics and Differences from L1 Wallets.

As with most decentralized Browser Wallets, you can set up and run accounts, eventually connecting them to the several and various Dapps on StarkNet.

Argent X allows you to secure your Private Keys while your account, being a Smart Contract, will be used to deal with Dapps.

How to use it.

Before using this new Wallet, you must download it through your WebStore:

After the Download, you'll find the Argent X symbol on your browser extension Tab. Click on it!

Once Argent X pops up, click on the plus symbol + to create a new account.

At this point, you'll receive the Back Up file that you will need if you'll ever have to restore your account. Save it and store it properly.

For the time being, Argent X is still on Alpha and you can test it on the StarkNet TestNet dealing with Dapps such as @JediSwap

Its Purpose.

Argent X is so far the first and only Wallet that can be used on StarkNet and it aims at being a great Dev & User tool to boost the growth of StarkNet as a competitive, safe, fast and cheap scaling solution.
